Windows media plays but no sound

Hello,guys i have my laptop which plays audio but you can here the audio, i have gone through the control panel>sound audio setting and all looks ok but am not getting sound and sometimes it tell me no output device yet am using headsets

Hello,

U have to re-install ur audio device.
If u don't have its driver tell the brand and the model of ur computer.

it is a dell lattitude d600 unfortunately i do not have the drivers for the audio

thanks alot for your help now the audio can play but i can not get any sound,do you have any idea on how i can get to hear my songs on the computer otherwise very greatful for the help
