My screen on black on my laptop, it comes on tells me to reset the time then the passwords page comes on then black. Ive done the battery thing it didnt work. My comp is only a week old, plz help

Looks like you have been sold a lemon.
Instead of trying a repair, since it's only a week old, hence under warranty, I strongly suggest that you bring it back to the seller and ask for an exchange.
