Dell laptop black screen

Hello,


I am having the dell laptop of vostro 1014 with os windows 8.1, my laptop showing black screen after login,plzzz help me asap.

Good Morning. What happens if you hit the start key? Does it boot in safe mode?

No,if i press f8 it is not showing anything just going to windows start up as before

Ya i am able to hear spinning sound and i am able to see evrything by using task manager option

Hello sana,

Can you hear the hard drive or fan spinning up? If you can hear the drive spinning, but nothing showing on the screen, then the problem might be with the cooling system of your video card. Probably the North Bridge burnt out and have to be replaced.
You could check also the power supply of the mother board and the hard drive.
