D drive data replaced by old C drive content Closed

Question

Hello,

Last nite, i formatted my C drive. 
When it prompt to type the serial number, which I forgot..then i shut it down.
The serial is in my D drive.
So, i try to install new OS that does not required serial no. 
But then, i saw my D drive content was my last C drive content before i format it.

How can i recover my data in D drive? Coz i only format my C drive.
Can it be done?

Please help, thanks in advance

hi,
if you are sure that you formatted only the drive C, then your data on drive D should remain untouched.
try to complete the installation and then access the drive.

yes, i'm sure i format the C. coz i delete that partition first before i format.
but is there any tools that can recover my data in D?
