Migration of database from one server to anotherClosed

Hello, 

I am migrating sql database to oracle database in a different servers.. sql is in windows & oracle is in linux... Here i am using dbconvert tool to migrate the database.. Here if i try to migrate to the  same server then it is possible.. if i connect to the different server then it is giving error as could not identify the server... Can Anyone please help me resolve the issue



Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 40.0.2214.111

Are you mapping to the drive, or just making a connection using username and password.  try making it a Drive and mapping the other server.

Hi,

i migrate-update oracle db servers and for online convert and correct migration, i have to have it in one domain(directories), if i have it only in same workgroup that was generate errors.
Anther way is try offline-migration, only with db dump.
