How do you switch from Wireless to Ethernet connection on XP?

Hi,
I am trying to switch from a wireless internet connection to an Ethernet one, but my network settings keep showing that there is a wireless connection I am connected to.

It does not show the Ethernet icon on Network Connections.
Is it possible anybody could help me with this?

Hi Musicgold.

Plug in the ethernet cable and right click on the wireless network connection by the clock. Choose disconnect.
