Perhaps the problem is with the Router? Can other PCs use your wifi?

I understand that your PC cant find wireless networks (your router)
first of all write down the model number and try getting back to me so I can provide a link for you to download the drivers for your wifi-card adapter.
the procedure will follow as this:
1- right click on your Computer icon on the desktop and choose manage
2- select the device manager and locate your network adapters.
3- locate the WIFI adapter and uninstall it
4- run the downloaded setup process to install the correct driver for you wireless adapter card.
