Cd-rw dvd rom does not read some game, some does.

Hello,
can someone pls explain me why is my cd-rw dvd rom is not reading an old game Warcraft3 Frozen throne? it does read other game. is it some driver issue? i m using t400 thinkpad and windows xp pro which was just installed. thank you.

It's probably a problem with the anti-piracy recording options they use on the disk. Your drive is likely running a little fast and can't sync with the data on the disk.
Only solution is to change the disk drive.
