Laptop work for like 2-3 hours and off by itself

Hello,

I have a problem with my hp g56 laptop, whenever i on it it will turn off immediately, sometimes it will work for like 2-3 hours and off by itself and it wont on until 2 or 3 days later. Please can you tell me what to do so that it will stop doing that again.
