Hello,
My folders in the pendrive were shortcut before..after reinstalling an antivirus..all the the folders from the pendrive got deleted...but in the properties it shows that space is taken...so can u please tell me how can i retrieve the folders..

Hi moyukh,
It is possible that your anti virus has put those files in the quarantine section. Please check that. If they are not there, connect the pendrive and check if you have some hidden files on it. This can be done from Folder Options ? View Tab.
If the option Show hidden files and folders is selected, use the CMD and type attrib -h -r -s /s /d L:\*.* ,
where L is the drive letter of the pendrive. Please check the topic below for some additional suggestions.
