Hello,
I have a dell dimension 2400 that came with windows xp home edition. I have a windows vista disk that came with my laptop.I used the disk to upgrade my desktop to windows vista.Now the only resolution setting my desktop has is 600 x 800 16 bit.How do I get more resolution settings?

You need a Vista driver for the graphics adapter, check the Dell site for a new driver.
You will need to register your copy of Vista after 30 days or it will start to deactivate functions. Microsoft will not allow two PCs to use the same serial number.
