HP pendrive does not work

Hello, my hp v220w pen drive does not working.and it also does not show any capacity memory,free space and usage space showing 0KB. and when i double click on it then show the message is"the drive is not accessible.The request could not be performed because of an I\O device error"
SO.plz help me..

Hi Pattrick,

Sadly, the I/O device error could mean a device damage. I would recommend you to enter Disk Management and check if the drive appears. Does it have a drive letter and a file format? Enter device manager and search for the drive under USB devices. I would try the pendrive on another PC to see if the error repeats. I leave you a link with some suggestions:
