You might try using a Linux OS run from a CD on your computer. Sometimes Linux is able to by-pass Hard Disk errors that Windows can't.
None of the DIY data recovery solutions can do a thing if your computer does not recognize the drive.

unfortunately, none of them show the files and folders in it.
