Hai, I have a Toshiba Satellite C650 with Windows 8.1.
I used to get wifi signal from my modem on my laptop.
But, for the past few weeks, it is behaving like a laptop without any wifi.
I looked in the device manager, and found out that my Wireless Network adapter isn't there.
I tried downloading WLAN drivers from the Toshiba website, but they haven't got drivers for Windows 8 or 8.1.
What I don't understand is, why did my laptop stop getting wifi in the first place?
I tried installing the drivers for Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit, and also for Windows XP. Still makes no difference.

I would expect to see another device like an
Atheros AR 9285 Wireless network Adapter for the wireless adapter. The one you see is for the LAN cable.

Perhaps the path of least resistance is to buy a USB WiFi adapter.

Good Luck
