Install windows XP on Acer E5 471G

Hi guys.
I bought Acer laptop E5 471G coming with win 8 Pre. I dont like win8, I prefer win XP and i try with many win XP version with SATA driver but it not successful, it cant detect drive. so far i temporary install win7. Any one has got winxp version can install on my laptop plz share to me.
My laptop : Core i5
IDE controller: Intel 8 series chipset family SATA AHCI controller.

Hi vioio,

XP does install with SATA drives. Have you been able to delete the partitions from your drive already? If your old installation still works dont forget to make a set of factory restore disks.

Also, you might need to make a change in the BIOS - Windows 8 uses UEFI but XP cant see it. I have never done this so it might be worth researching it more, but here is a site to get you looking in the right place ...

Thank you Brian.
I deleted old partitions and created 2 partitions on HDD. i also changed BIOS setting, if not i cant install win7.

Sorry for delay in response.

Im not sure if you managed to install Windows 7 or not. If not, what error are you getting when it fails? Also - if you need XP you will need a legal and valid product key.

Thanks for your answer. I thinks this issue bcauz SATA driver or it has disable by BIOS firmware.I have Death Blue Screen when i install winxp, this need not valid product key.
