Lets check ur sound card.
do this
START--->RUN
Then enter-- dxdiag and answer yes for next question.
Then select the sound tab.There u will find ur sound device and sound driver.
Click the test direct sound button.
Reply the questions correctly.
Then select the music tab and do the same.
Read the notes and find out the problem.
If there is no problem the try installing a beter driver according to ur sound device shown above.
