About Flash Drive

I am using my own system, in that i had a problem. When i connect on my flash on system it is connecting but it doesn't appear on my computer. i tried as per your past answers, what you are given others, but i failed to get it. can you please answer me how to rectify it? in that flash i have my personal data's which is important to me? Help Me to get the data's back
