I am sorry about the problem you are facing. Unfortunately those clicking sound are not a good sign. They could indicate a mechanical issue. Search for the drive in Disk Management. Check its file format. Is it RAW? Sadly, there are not many options left if the issue is mechanical. I would use a Linux Live CD, because it may grant you access to your data. If the information on the drive is really important, contact a data recovery company and check their suggestions.
