Try this one
Connect to your pc, start "regedit" and go on :
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers\NameOfYourPrinter\Copyfiles
And delete the "BIDI" key, try again to install your printer, it should works.

option 1. If your set-up was working before, all you have to do is to re-install the printer driver. Delete the printer in the control panel - devices and printers. Also, delete the printer in the windows 8 computer. Then, install the printer driver again.
option 2. If your set-up didn't work in the first place, better install your printer to the windows 8 computer instead, then share it to the windows 7 computer. Be sure to install the printer driver for windows 8. This might work because Windows 8 should be backwards compatible to windows 7.
