Attempts to get my hotmail account have been unsuccessful

Hello,
Microsoft have instructed that my attempts to get my hotmail account have been unsuccessful and I need to open a new one. I need to keep this one as all friends and relatives get in touch by this method. What can I do to get it up and running again. I have filled the online form in several times with mo success

Hello Bernie,

Hotmail has now been replaced by Outlook so Hotmail is now Outlook and your Hotmail account should work in Outlook.
