Keyboard not working properly

Hello,
hi this is mathan,
i am having acer gateway NE46RS model laptop.my laptop key's are not working properly, like if i type letter "Q" it will come as "-q" and if i type "b" it will come "br" and so and so .So what will be the problem i need some advice.

I would first test with an external USB keyboard. If thzt test goes OK then I would look into replacing the internal keyboard.
