my ipod was charging over night and when i went to turn it on the screen went white.. and now it just stays like tht...what should i do? ive tried the holding down the home with the upper volume still nothing

My ipod did that once and I had to leave it alone for a couple of days then it worked bit I think you got the white screen of death.
