Asus x550l not starting up

Hello,

i have a asus x550L laptop with windows 8. when i turn it on it goes to the bios start up. i dont know what has gone wrong but when i exit and try to start it starts clicking from the front and goes back to bios, im assuming hardware?? can anyone help please

When in the BIOS does it detect the hard drive?
