Hello,

I am having a strange issue. I am running the below system specs and have been for a couple years. I have always run two monitor setup (one samsung S24B350 on HDMI and one samsung S24C450 on DVI), but recently when I boot up my computer stopped outputting signal to the monitors. The CPU starts up, lights fans on and all but the monitors would search for signal then fall asleep.

The strange thing is when I connect just my DVI to the S24C450 and power the PC on, it works, I can then subsequently plug in my HDMI to the other Samsung monitor and both desktops display extended fine. I can then reboot, with both monitors connected, and the same issues states again.

Any thoughts on display settings or driver display settings, or other solution to get my monitors to boot up right the first time again?

AMD Radeon HD 7870 2gb
Running Windows 10 Pro (had the issue start when I was running x64 Windows 7 Pro)
AMD 4100 Quad Core FX
ASUS M5A97 MOTHERBOARD

It's possible that your power supply is not supplying sufficient current when booting with both monitors.
