Ipod won`t show my music on ipod but will once connected to itun

hello,

I need help bigtime! I am unable to play my songs on my ipod. It doesn`t evem show my songs on the ipod itself. However, when I connect it to iTunes all of my songs appear on iTunes. When I try to play the songs on iTunes this ! pops up next to the song and won`t play. What do I have to do to get my songs to show up on my ipod itself? I can care less if it doesn`t work on ITunes I just want the damn thing to work on the ipod itself.

Can someone please, please help me fix this issue.

Have u tried taking it in to Verizon or what ever phone company you are with?

My Ipod? No. Why would i take it to them? Just curious. Thanks

Because they might be able to tell you what's wrong and how to fix it

I get what you are saying but I don`t understand why Verizon. They don`t fix Ipods. At least I`ve never heard of it.

Also, I wasn`t trying to be a smart a$$ by the way. I was just confused by that suggestion that`s all.
