F drive not getting opend even after formatting

Hello,
i have important data in f drive, i have a 40 gb memory cpu, at first i was working fine but now its giving a dialog box telling access denaied or format drive, its a very old system. why is this problem occuring and plz help me to recover the data by hook or crook.

If the drive is not detected then there is almost zero chance of a home user recovering any data.
