500 GB Hardrive placed in Apricorn EZ Clone

Hello, I purchased a 500 GB Hard Drive for my laptop, spec and such are compatiable
I purchased EZ clone from Apricorn and placed the hard drive in to it and started cloning well we lost power, and interrupted cloning process now it will not clone I have to erace the hard drive and start over, can someone please tell me how to erase the hard drive please. Formatting?

Can't you reformat using the Apricorn software?

If not right click My Computer Icon then select Manage - Disk Management - then find the external drive ((not the C drive)) right click the Drive disk on the right panel you can then select Format.
