My external drive wont open

Hello,

My external drive takes a long time to open and when it finally opens i cant access the files,all the files have question marks on them,i don't wont to lose those files please help

I suggest you try to access the drive from a different computer. You might also try a Linux computer since Linux will sometimes read a hard drive that Windows will not.
