Norton 2015 corrupted my hard drive

Hi,
I was using Western Digital 500GB hard drive on Windows 10 (x64). I tried disk optimization feature on Norton and it was completed. After some time my PC started hang. I manually restart the computer and Windows start screen was just rolling and didn't open. I thought it must be a virus problem so I decided to format and I booted using Windows 10 DVD and tired to format, it failed later it didn't showed any partition on my hard drive.

I took my PC to a technician and he said that my hard disk is damaged and I replaced it with new.

Now, my problem is data recovery. Technician said data recovery is not possible now. They said they tried their best but unable to recover any data.

So, is there any way that I can make my internal hard drive portable on USB and try to recover data using eases.

Please help me!
