My laptop screen stays black...

I don't know what happened but my laptop still works its just it is like the bulb went out the power and everything works I have to use a flashlight pointed at the screen that should light up to see what I'm doing. If someone could let me know it would be much appreciated thank you.

Hello

Your back lights are probably fried.

Try another monitor to see if you get a signal.
