You can try using CMD (Command Prompt), to see if you're able to format it this way: https://ccm.net/faq/9524-format-a-usb-key-from-the-command-prompt-in-windows Other than that you could try formatting the USB flash drive via a different computer. If you still have no luck with it, try out the pen drive manufacturer's format utility.
