power supply yellow plug end snapped and sparked,now laptop{compaq c700} wont turn on at all.no blue light ring or anything,battery was charged when it happened,any ideas,tried pulling battery,holding power button down and all that,still nothing,what could have got fried?

Did you mean that power adapter for laptop has burnt?

Didnt burn,wire broke in two from psu and sparked like when u plug into wall outlet

Try another Power cable if it works good the problem lies with your power cable.
