Hi guys. 1st message here...I uninstalled Perfect Effects 10 from my computer. I double checked all files to be deleted. All were program files. Now when I try to boot, I get the Dell splash screen, rounding circle showing windows is loading. It then goes to a blue screen telling me it couldn't boot but would fix the problem & then reboots, with the same results as above. I have tried Hiren Boot CD as well as a recovery disc. Seems to ignore them, no matter what order I have bootable devices in. Anybody got any clues? F2 & F8 take me to the BIOS screen. Help! TIA!

What OS are you using? If your machine isn't finding a boot device, then double check your harddrive is the first bootable device.

When you deleted the program, did you use the WINDOWS UNINSTALLER?

I'm running Windows 8.1. I've got 3 screen shots that shoe my settings. Is there a way to attach them here?
I used iObit Uninstaller to delete the program.

Have you looked to IOBIT for support?

Hello Mark,

Your suggestion to ask for support from IOBIT is great but I have a feeling those guys don't really give any support. I also think that most of what they sell or give away is junk.

See for yourself:

https://www.iobit.com/en/advanceduninstaller.php

Perfect Effects 10 is your run of the mill photo editor which could have been easily uninstalled with Windows. IOBIT, I suggest is the culprit, something vital was uninstalled.

What do you say if we ask sn95svt to post pictures of his blue screen and ask him if he can boot in safe mode with networking?

Have fun

Yes, I should have done my diligence before saying that. When the support tab from a wordpress template has an index listing of "Refund Request's". It is the second listing of the index. That would have given me some insight on the type of product it was.

Yes, I encourage the posting of the BSOD images with the use of the picture upload tool.
