No audio device installed....Windows 7...how to retriev sound ?

Please bear in mind that I can't hear you...No sound....No audio device installed...all of a sudden sound is gone.....RED X at icon......I have tried control management security but the connections are missing.

Can anyone show me (in simple terms) how to download and install the device.

Hello

You probably need to reinstall or update your sound card driver.

You have not told us anything about your computer so it's difficult to help you in any way.
