Hotmail says user name doesn't exist

Hi am having so much trouble accessing my hotmail account
It's says user name doesn't exist when I've had this about hotmail account since in was 16 so 15 years ago
But the trouble is I no longer no my password to my hotmail account so I now can not get in to my Facebook which is very annoying
Please can any one help me sort this problem out
