Hey there, srinani.
Did you have any problems with that card before? What's the device you are using the card with and is it recognized by it?
I'd recommend that you try the card with a different card reader to see if the same thing happens. You could also check if it's recognized in Disk Management, because it might just need you to assign it a new drive letter like this: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=Qolnmi
If you need to recover files from it, I'd recommend that you try accessing it via data recovery software or Ubuntu Live USB/DVD, to see if it's recognized and if you can get to your data.
