Ok, so in the bios, is there a hard disk to boot to? Is it the first selection? What happens when you exit the bios? It should give you an error. If it just restarts, then you have hardware issues, and unless you have taken apart a laptop, you are not going to be able to recover from this, without taking to a qualified technician.
