Hello,
I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop, there's a rectangle power button that i held down for about 5 seconds, it powered it off. But not completely. (I was leaving a friends) when I came home, I just tapped that button, the fan came on and the lights on the front seemed to be working. I have tried the 30 degrees thing, the 30-60 second thing. I've plugged it into a monitor, I've taken out the battery. I've let it charge and everything, any ideas? Please help.

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.

Good luck
