XP SP3 reinstall with 2 M Audio Cards

Hello,

I am in the process of redoing a Dell Dimension 8300 Windows XP Pro SP3. I wand to replace the Creative Sound card with an M-Audio card and add an additional M-Audio instrument/ mic recording card.

So, my question is do I pull the old sound card out before redoing OS and then adding the other two cards once XP SP3 is in.

Please help me find the right order so as to get it done properly the first time, if you know what I mean. Thanks very much!
