Hello LenS,
Have you checked whether the laptop is overheating? It might have some issues with any driver so I recommend that you make an update to all of the drivers on your system.
Are you working on battery or on power cable? If you work with the battery in, try to plug only the charger to the jack and work with it. Does it give you any error?
