I HAVE A TOSHIBA WINDOWS 8.1 C55D-A5304 LAPTOP IT WILL START UP BUT THE SCREEN WONT TURN ON IT WILL STAY BLACK PEOPLE ONLINE CALL OT BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH PLEASE HELP I'm trying to get the battery and putting it back in and turning it off and back on again but it doesn't help

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
