Asus Black Screen Solution

Hi Guys,

i have found the solution of black screen for ASUS LAPTOP'S. before you apply this tricks you must be some activity like that.

1. Restart your computer (with safe mode)
2. Remove your NVIDIA driver if you installed.
3. Restart your computer with normal window or normal mode.
4. then apply this mention below Tricks.
5. after apply this trick you can reinstall your graphics driver.

A fix for ASUS laptops black screen issue after updates:

Go to Registry Editor (in the search type "regedit.exe")


Go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000


Next, find or create DWORD32 with the name:

MD_EnableBrightnesslf2
KMD_EnableBrightnessInterface2



Set both to 0.

In Device Manager, disable your video adapter (Your graphics card) and re-enable it.



Retest your LCD brightness settings with FN keys or from Power Options in Control Panel.

This worked for me with the latest Crimson 2016 years driver for Radeon HD 6370M in Windows 7.
