Internet Switch Not Working, HELP

Hello, I have a Gateway M-6750 laptop and my Internet wireless switch is not working properly. Its on the "ON" position and it doesnt have any signal when I try to connect to a Network. Can someone please tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?

I have the same computer and same problem. The switch is on and lit up but refuses to find the wireless network half the time especially if I shut it the whole way down. It not only happens with my network at home but when we go away also.

hi,
check if it is correctly connected.
try to use another cable to see if it helps.
