Hello,

My question is and if this can be done. Say I have a date entered 3/15/2016 and have information in my excel file. Then I have to enter another date 3/21/16, so not to get confused from the information I put in for the 3/15, I want to fill the cell yellow with any new changes in the file when I enter the 3/21 date. So for example I enter 3/15/2016 in A1 and I have value of 5 in cell B1, value of 6 in B2 and the value of 7 in B3. Then in C1 I have a formula taking the sum from cells B2 and B3 and cell C2 have a formula taking the sum of cells B3 and B1. Then in C3 I have a formula taking the sum of cells B1, B2 and B3.

So When I enter the date 3/21/16 in cell A2, if I change a value in B1 from 5 to 1, I would like that cell to change color to yellow and cell C2 and C3 since they changed as well. Can this be done?

Conditional Formatting under the home tab may work for you. Can you post a picture as to reference for more information?
