Laptop black screen

Hello,

My laptop HP 6530 is not working :( . When I switch on I see HP logo and after logo there's black screen with _ blinking...it just blinks and it doesn't even proceed and keeps on _ blinking... I am really in need of my important files. Please reply ... :(

Hi Rahul,

This is what comes in services manual of HP 6530:

Power light
● On: The computer is on.
● Blinking: The computer is in the Sleep state.
● Blinking rapidly: An AC adapter with a higher power rating
should be connected.
● Off: The computer is off or in Hibernation.

Will unplugging battery and holding power will harm my HDD and files ? I have files on C AND D drive which is very needed...I can't harm those...pls tell...will doing that harm data'

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
