Micro SD card not detected.

Hello,

My 8GBmicroSDCard recently stopped working. At first I thought it was the Adapter so I tested it out with a different SdCard and it worked fine.When I plug in the 8GB one, nothing appears at all. No notification appears. Its like nothing is plugged in at all. You know that icon that appears? well its not there, my laptop does not detect anything plugged in at all. I tried ICare Data Recovery but as I said, my laptop does not detect anything at all. I checked the golden "teeth "of my card for damage and it seemed fine. Both my phone and laptop don't detect anything at all. Please help me, this SDCard contains very important files to me.

Update:I compared the Gold "Teeth" to the other SDCards that I possess and noticed it has a darker color, Is this related? If so how do I "clean" it?
