I have a desktop pc with win10 OS..many of my videos copied from either my camera or mobile phones are not playing in the media player / VLC /or any other player. the video displayed is hazy or is hanging

If you uograded to WIN 10
Go online to your computer manufacturers website. Enter your model number and update any outdated drivers

Look for your flash play. Adobe or shockwave. And update them
