My laptop shuts off immediately after startup

Hello,
I have a toshiba satellite L650. I plugged my charger in one day and went to turn it on, I pressed the power button and it began to run, the fan and everything else started up but about 3 seconds after I pushed the power button it immediately shut off? Any ideas on what it might be and how I can fix it? Thankyou

It appears you have a hardware error and the BIOS is shutting the system down. About the only hardware you have access to is the memory. I would try running the laptop on one memory card.
