It is helpful for us if you post the screen shots of your disk management and device manager, so that we can review this issue to our best.
To capture and post a screenshot;
Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start...all programs...accessories...paint....left click in the white area ...press CTRL + V...click on file...click on save...save it to your desktop...name it something related to the screen your capturing... then click on mountain icon on the reply and upload your image.
Hope you understand. If you have any doubts please feel free to ask.

Did you try to format that drive using HP-USB-disk-storage-format-tool?

what is your pendrive model?
Try one of this steps:
1) give it a try
alex's coding playground » Download
2) HDD LLF Low Level Format. Download it, then low-level-format your USB flash drive, then format it again normally using windows format tool.
After you LLF your USB drive, do not use windows quick format, just use the full format.
3) Insert the usb drive
Right click on my computer and select manage
In it SELECT DEVICE MANAGER THEN PORTABLE DEVICES SELECT YOUR USB
Then Driver and in that disable and also uninstall.
Then reinsert the usb.
And then try to format again.
4)If you have another PC, try it in that one. if all steps fail,
I think the Stick may be bad
