Headset sound works but isn't recognized

Hello,


So I just bought this Turtle Beach 50P and i plugged it into my laptop. As soon as i wanted to use the mic it just used the regular mic of my laptop. It seems that my laptop doesnt recognize my headset at all. That's weird since i get sound from the headphone even though it's not listed in devices. Does anyone know what to do?
